Tikka and Kabab Ameen has a storied history that dates back to 1948 when it was founded by the visionary Ameen Ameen. The restaurant's journey began with humble origins, as Ameen Ameen started by selling coal to raise the capital needed for his culinary dream. Inspired by his passion for traditional Bahraini and Arabic cuisine, he later ventured into the hotel industry with his brother. The desire to share the flavors of his homeland led him to establish his very own restaurant in the 1940s, laying the foundation for what would become an iconic culinary institution.

Pioneering Shawarma in Bahrain
